Dear Families,
I have found a new kid friendly video for you and this is also about making and reading music, but it is presented in a different way that your child and/or children might enjoy. In music class, we are concentrating on the whole note, half note, quarter note, and the quarter rest, but if you child and/or children want to learn the other notes and rests as well, then, your child and/or children will be ahead of the curve in music class.

I wanted to introduce to you possibly a new instrument, which is called the flute. Here is a picture of it.
Here is some information about the flute.
The flute is a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute is an Aerophone or Reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening.
The flute is one of the instruments that you child and/or children may choose to play in the Fifth Grade.
