Ti is actually Ta or the quarter note.

Ti-Ki is actually Ti-Ti or the pair of eighth notes

I feel hopeful that this explanation will assist you as you learn the drum part for this song. This is certainly a song that I would like to incorporate into our music classroom next year.

Another aspect of this singing game video that I would like to highlight is the impro or improvisation part. Improvisation is where you, yourself, get to play and/or make a rhythm that you would like to and you don’t have to follow any particular rhythm.

IMPROV OR IMPROVISATIION MEANS THAT THAT YOU GET TO PLAY WHATEVER RHYTHM YOU WANT TO DURING THIS TIME.\
