Spelling/Vocab This Week

Compatible: existing together harmoniously

Dimple: a small natural hollow in the cheek or chin

Freckle: small brownish spots on human skin, generally mostly found on the face.

Ankle: the joint between the foot and the leg

Knuckle: the rounded prominence formed by the ends of the two adjacent bones at a joint —used especially of those at the joints of the fingers

Sprinkle: small particles of candy used as a topping; to scatter in drops or particles

Pebble: a small usually rounded stone especially when worn by the action of water

Uncle: the brother of one’s father or mother

Humble: not proud or haughty : not arrogant or assertive

Fumble: to grope for or handle something clumsily or aimlessly

Turtle: a slow-moving reptile, enclosed in a scaly or leathery domed shell into which it can retract its head and thick legs.

Volume: the amount of space that a substance or object occupies; example: water
