  • If you are having troubles with the program, please choose to read for at least 20 minutes a day. You may read with a family member at home, too! As you read, think about the theme of the story and the characters, setting and plot (problems, events, solution).

Homework Planners and Classroom Books

  • As part of my supports in helping to keep students organized with homework assignments, I have given each student a composition notebook designated as their “Planner”. Students are asked to write down the date and the assignments each day. They should take it home and bring it back to school each day.
  • Students will be getting additional books to read for a small group. They are sent home in a navy blue bag. Students are asked to return the bags/books to school after reading through their book the next day.
  • Classroom books in their book bags may be exchanged in the classroom library on their library day. Students should be reading at home using books assigned for their small group reading AND/OR from their book bags.

Staying organized and bringing proper materials to and from school is essential for success!

Your support at home is always welcomed in an effort to help students stay organized this year. 🙂

Always learning,

-Miss Prebenda
