After reading the story, Iggy Peck: Architect, Becker 2nd graders built their own bridges out of straws and tape and tested their resiliency holding up pennies. This is Mrs. Koss’s class after they tested their bridges!

At both schools, we have been exploring Interland while learning about different facets of internet safety. We have talked about password and information safety, being kind online and cyberbullying, sharing appropriately online, and distinguishing between what’s real and fake online. Check out the awesome game we’ve used to extend our learning about appropriate conduct online!
Funbrain is an interactive site where students can practice essential skills, including math, using a game format. It has some great material!
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Haigh have been hard at work writing their digital stories using the Storybird online storytelling tool. Students are able to create their own personalized stories using colorful and vibrant illustrations. Check it out!
