We have been learning about fire safety in kindergarten! Some of the brave firefighters came to Salina School to teach our little ones about fire safety! This was such an amazing experience for our kids!
Please review with your child where they should go for the safe spot in the case of a house fire. Also, please make sure you have working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors on each floor of your house. If you need these, please contact your local fire department or let me know. 🙂
We learned if our clothes catch on fire….we need to stop, drop, and roll. This friend demonstrated!Firefighters wear special gear to stay safe while they brave through the dangerous fire! We need to remember to not be afraid when we see them so they can help us!Firefighters have lots and lots of compartments on the engine! There are many tools to use to help rescue and help people in danger! The ambulance is stocked and ready to help us when we have an emergency with our bodies! We enjoyed our visit from the firefighters!
