Slot: Volume of pyramids and cones Slot Quiz: Next Friday, 5.29.15

Unit Test Quadrilaterals: Thursday, 5.21.15

  • The test will cover the following concepts:
  • The different Quadrilaterals and their properties
  • Classify a quadrilateral by finding the lengths of its sides (using Pythagorean theorem) and using the slope to tell if it has right angles.
  • Find the fourth coordinate of a quadrilateral.  (Parallelogram example: Finding the Fourth Coordinate)
  • Proofs: Make sure you know how to solve for different parts of a quadrilateral, and you are familiar with past concepts such as parallel angle relationships and congruent triangles.

Lesson: Go over some proofs from the parallelogram worksheet.  The worksheet and some examples that we went over in class can be found at the links below.
