Add ‘s to the singular form of the word (even if it ends in -s):
the owner’s car
James’s hat (James’ hat is also acceptable.)
For plural, proper nouns that are possessive, use an apostrophe after the ‘s’: “The Eggleses’ presentation was good.” The Eggleses are a husband and wife consultant team.)
To DO:
Write your own sentences using a plural, proper noun that is possessive.

Grades are in! Yes, this will happen every card marking; grades are submitted for report cards. I wanted to take a moment to reiterate that semester grades are what appear on transcripts. If you reread the syllabus, my policies are clearly explained.

Even though I love talking about grades, I do have some expectations for students. I ask that you read the following: https://signeteducation.com/blog/how-to-talk-to-a-teacher-about-a-grade BEFORE approaching me with any comments/questions/concerns about grades.

Lastly, I want to clarify that turning in an assignment does not equal an “A” on that assignment.
