I am not sure what you are asking. Do you want to have 2 archetypes? Or two reasons why that character is the archetype. If it is the first one, the answer is no, but if it is the second, the answer is yes. I hope this helps.
Ms J
Let me answer all of your posts in one reply. The thesis statement can be however many sentences that you want it to be. If you are asking me if a good thesis statement is 4 sentences long, my answer is no. I already answered the exclamation mark question several times in class. The title of your paper can be whatever you want it to be. Hero’s journey is not a proper noun. It really doesn’t matter if you give away the ending because this paper is not a plot summary, but an analysis of the hero’s journey.
Dear mrs.Jameison,
Salutations and a good afternoon to you indeed, i have a question about our homwork, must the map (consisting of two bubbles) be colored such as was required with the last one? or nay?
sincerely,……….
Tyrone,
Bravo for being a smart aleck…such students inevitably become my favorites…you can find the answer to your query on this very blog in the directions for the assignment.
Good night, kind Sir,
Ms J
Alaa,
Your literary letter is not about the books you read. It is about your meta cognition. But you do need to have 2 books read by the end of the card marking.
See you tomorrow,
Ms J
Hi Ms. Jamieson,
I am so sorry about all the SSR questions, but I just had a few more. Do the exit tickets, if we type them, and the literary letter have to be double spaced? Also, would it be necessary to write a full blown summary and mention the name of the characters in the exit ticket if we choose to write a “Trailer”, or should the trailer just be about what we liked and why we liked it?
Thank you
Anna
I finished reading a book of my interest for SSR, but as for the second book, can I read The Alchemist, or does it have to be a mythological book. By the way, I tried to find a good mythology book, but none of them seemed to be in my interest. :/
Zayna,
Is The Alchemist the hero’s journey? So perhaps the main character is a tragic hero? Only one way to find out…let me know how it turns out.
Ms J
what are som of the reqirements of a hero? (like on that big odessy poster with the sticky notes on it in your room, some of those)
and can we do more than one example for paragraphs 3&4?
Hasan,

Abbas, go to notes on this website and click on the first link, it’ll download the powerpoint for the Req. of Hero’s journey.
Mrs.Jamieson, Do we have to read two books this card marking.
Mohammed,
Yes.
Ms J
For the 4th paragraph about the 12 stages in a heros journey can I choose more than 1 stage? I want to use two that are subsequent if that’s okay
Iman,
Please follow the directions on the rubric. It is very clear about the requirements for each body paragraph.
Ms J
Can the thesis statement be 4 sentences?

And can the attention grabber be a quote from the movie, but has exclamation marks. Ex: “No! I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute.”
Can my title for the essay be The Hunger Games
In the phrase The Hero’s Journey, is the capitalization correct or is it the Hero’s Journey.
Is it ok if I say what happens in the end in my second body paragraph

Dear Ms. Jamieson,
For our literary letter, do we need to have two books read completely?
Alaa Abouhashim
Alaa,
Your literary letter is not about the books you read. It is about your meta cognition. But you do need to have 2 books read by the end of the card marking.

Good evening Ms. Jamieson,
Are we required to write one or two literary letters this card marking?
-Hajjar
Hajjar,
One lit letter, 2 exit tickets. Hope this helped.
See you tomorrow,
Ms J
Hello Ms. Jamieson,
Yes, it did. Thank you.
-Hajjar
Hi Ms. Jamieson,
I wanted to ask you, do the two exit tickets due on Friday have to be typed, or can they be hand written?
Thank you
Anna
Anna,
Handwritten is fine.
Ms J
Ms J,
Is there a page 1013 for the homework because it’s not posted?
Dear ms.jamieson, what do you mean to write about the metacognitive in the literary letter
Thank you
Hi Ms. Jamieson,
Who is the literary letter supposed to be addressed to?
