Welcome back to a new semester!

Today’s bellwork reviewed properties of special quadrilaterals. For the remainder of the hour, we started discussing section 6.1 – quadrilaterals. Students were able to classify quadrilaterals based on opposite sides and lengths. Starting this semester, I will be collecting Bellworks; for every 10 bellworks completed, students are required to turn them in for a grade. Attached below are today’s class materials.

Today’s bellwork covered section 5.5: inequalities in triangles.  For the remainder of the hour, we finished discussing section 5.5: inequalities in triangles and students worked on a classwork handout: practice 5.3, 5.5.  Students will have a test on Thursday over Chapter 5 – refer to a previous blog post for the study guide.   Attached below are today’s class materials.
