Today’s bellwork reviewed dilations and practice SAT questions.

For the remainder of the hour, students went over the answers to Hwk #14 and worked on Cwk #9 on Agile Mind as review.

October 14th, 2019

Today’s bellwork reviewed all transformations covered in class so far and practice SAT questions.

For the remainder of the hour, we started discussing vectors and translation vectors. Students finished SAS #3 and answered questions #1-4 on SAS #4.

Students were given the Topic #3 Test Review. Topic #3 Test will be on Monday, October 21st, 2019.

October 10th, 2019

Today’s bellwork reviewed reflections of a triangle over the x and y axis, a rotation of 180 degrees, and a reflection over the line y = x.

For the remainder of the hour, we began our discussion on translations and writing the ordered pair rules for translation. Students completed SAS #3 in their text booklets.

Today’s bellwork reviewed x and y axis reflections and gave students practice for the SAT.

For the remainder of the hour, we started discussing the rules of reflections over the line y = x with a patty paper activity and rotations of 180 degrees about the origin.

Today’s bellwork reviewed for tomorrow’s topic 2 test over rigid transformations.

For the remainder of the hour, students went over the answers to the topic 2 review and began the introduction to the next topic: transformations in a coordinate plane.
