EMAIL
Since we will starting the school year virtually one of the best forms of communication will be email. All students have an email address. It is your child’s 8 digit student number followed by @dearbornschools.org. The password is usually the child’s birthdate (MMDDYYYY).

Please keep in mind when signing in to clever you’ll need to type in your complete email address which includes @dearbornschools.org.

ZOOM & SENDING MESSAGES (with Schoology)

The video below shows you how to log in to your Schoology account and select “Mrs. Osborne’s First Grade Class – Room 103” in your courses. Then you will learn how to find the zoom link for your live lessons. At the end of the video Mrs. Osborne shows you how to send her a message through Schoology which you can use instead of sending an email.

Select these buttons at the same time, then drag out one tab to see them at once.

COMPUTER MICROPHONE

If the microphone sounds loud, staticky, or has a lot of background noise it might be the internal microphone that is up to high.

First click on the volume icon (bottom right)

Next click on the arrow to the right of the sound level.

This will take you to the internal microphone volume setting. The setting is probably up the highest, it should be somewhere in the middle of the settings.
