For our October PBIS reward party, we will be having a day of fun, not just a party! A petting farm will be visiting us outside, as well as a pumpkin patch. Each child will be bringing home their very own pumpkin! But that is not all…. We will also go to a magic show to see some amazing tricks by a magician!
To help us pay for this fun-filled day, Mr. Awada is asking every child to donate $2 to take part in the fun. Please send your donations with your child by this Friday (10-25-19). Thanks for your support! 🙂
Say cheese! 🙂 Picture Day will be this Friday, October 18th.
We will be going to the Detroit Zoo on Monday. If your child has a Miller shirt, please have them wear it along with comfortable pants and gym shoes. Everyone will need a lunch with a drink packed it a plastic bag.
If you have volunteered to join us, we want to give you a big THANK YOU! I appreciate having so many parents willing to lend a hand. Please plan on being in our room by 8:45. We will return to Miller by 2:30.
Have a great weekend!
We will be having a PTA meeting tomorrow at 9:00. Please join us for a very important meeting. Make sure you sign in, too. The class with the most parents at the meeting will earn a pizza party.
Today the children brought home permission slips for our field trip to the Detroit Zoo on Monday, October 7th. Mr. Awada would like to help pay part of the children’s tickets, so their cost of the ticket is $6. Parents that would like to join us on the trip will need to pay the full amount of $8. We hope you will consider joining us on this trip.
Please send the permission slips and money for the trip back to school by Monday, September 30th. We are all very excited and hope you will join us for a fun day at the zoo! 🙂
The Ecology Club is collecting can tabs for a special project for our school garden. We would love to help them collect as many as possible. Please send in any can tops that you have at home to help them reach their goal. Thanks for your help!
