ONE: CREATE A SCHEDULED TIME FOR WORLD HISTORY DAILY. I am grading your work and returning it to you. That just means you got it scored for participation. By next week, we should know if it is pass/fail or a grade. Either way, the work needs to be done. Pace yourself, I know some of you are sharing a chrome book with siblings. Make sure you do not fall behind and try to finish all the work at once. Set up a “time” for World History each day to review or do assigned work. Creating a scheduled time will help you stay on track and focused.

#2) GROCERIES: Increased job layoffs are impacting our families. If you

need any help with food, please send an email to Stacy

Rumler or myself.

My email is: hal@dearbornschools.org

We will put you into contact with people who can help.

#3) YOUR WORK WILL COUNT. The District is working on a plan that should be approved by 4-20-20. Please make sure you get the work to me in a timely manner. The District will decide on either a pass/fail or a grade. It WILL COUNT EITHER WAY, so please do your assigned work. If you have fallen behind, please get the previous posted work done as soon as possible. ASAP.

#4 ASSIGNED WORK: located in google classroom. Here is a copy anyway. I prefer you send me all assignments through google classroom. You can still take pictures and send it via google classroom instead of email. Just get your work to me though if you are unable to use google classroom.

Hi Family,

This is a trying time right now. I was just mailing off some mail at the post office and the man in front of me said he was just laid off a few minutes ago.

If you, your family or friend/neighbor is experiencing any difficulty feeding your family, please contact Stacy Rumler at DHS. It is confidential. We do not want any family to suffer during this difficult time.

FAVORITE FOOD UPDATES: thank you for sending in the favorite foods you are eating during the shelter in order. The top common foods were: hot chips (Tikis), Oranges, Mango, and Ramen Noodles. Some of mom favorites were potato and chicken casserole, steak and salad, salad made by mom with onions, peppers and tomatoes. Two students were even eating sushi!

I was impressed with how healthy you are eating. Nice job!
