Day 4: Good Morning!

Today you will begin your last movie from the Civil War Era. Today you should begin the movie Killing Lincoln. Killing Lincoln was produced the National Geographic Channel, so if you have trouble finding it look there. Be sure to download the attached 6 square sheet and complete during the movie. If you cannot find Killing Lincoln I would suggest watching the movie Lincoln or Conspirator and completing the Alternate 6 Square sheet attached below. Please let me know if you are having trouble finding the movies.

Day 4: Good Morning!

Follow today’s agenda attached below. Unless told otherwise, I will collect all of your assignments as a packet when we return. As of now keep all worksheets or handwritten assignments together as Unit 6 Chapter 19. As I did yesterday, I will ask when I need an assignment submitted to me. Please be sure to read the daily blog carefully to limit any confusion.

Use attached Cornell Note Taker for today’s video 6.5 The Eisenhower Era.

Use the attached Guided Reading Questions to complete Chapter 19 Section 2 guided reading questions. Place work on a separate sheet of paper, title paper, write in complete sentences and restate the question in your answer.

Unit 6 Extended Learning Opportunity. This will only be graded if the objective assessments and CERs are completed. Select one of the following movies, watch the movie, download the 6 square below and complete and submit the 6 square sheet. Truman (not the Truman Show), The Best years of Our Lives, Tucker, The Allan Freed Story, Quiz Show, Guilty By Suspicion, The Founder.

Third, you should have completed the movie Glory. If you had to choose a different movie then write your review for that film. Today, write your review, be sure to follow our rubric and then take a picture and send it to me on Remind. This will be assignment #1 for us.

Beginning today I will assign the next movies that we would have been watching. If you cannot locate any of the movies that I am asking you to watch you can go to the attached list and select an alternate movie for the correct time period. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask.

We are continuing with our Antebellum/Civil War Era

Our next film is Glory, the story of the 54th Massachusetts Regiment. Some violence and mild language. This is one of mu all-time favorite movies. Over the next two days please complete the 6 Square sheet and written response, I will need you to type and submit your written CER from the bottom of the 6 Square.
