QUESTION: Should Lakeside Middle School have assigned seats at lunch?
QUESTION: Should Lakeside Middle School have assigned seats at lunch?
(not sure why, but the blog doesn’t let me indent)
paragraph 1 (introduction)
A budget can help you save money so you can get an expensive car and go to the movies. It’s a good idea to write your budget in a journal. Governments have budgets and so do people.
paragraph 1 (introduction)
“Michigan Governor Wants 3 Billion Dollars to Fix the Crumbling Roads!” This shocking statement is a sad but true title, and it shows how government budgets work. A budget is a plan that helps governments and ordinary people plan how to use their money. A budget is important because it puts people in control of their own money.
paragraph 1 (introduction)
A budget is a simple plan for saving and spending and puts people in control of their own money.
paragraph 1 (introduction)
In the text it states, “When you make a budget, you may want to make it for a longer time” (Source 1, 68). This means that a budget for just one week might not include enough information, for example, a birthday party gift. Additionally, a monthly budget is better because most people pay for their cars one payment every month, not every week.
Neatly copy these three quotes on loose leaf. Then write two or more elaborations under each quote. The first one has been done for you as an example.
“A budget allows people to plan for buying expensive things, such as a house, car, or refrigerator” (Source 1, 65).
“The amount left over is money you can make a choice about spending or saving” (Source 1, 67).
“Consider keeping track of your actual income and expenses in a journal or account book” (Source 1, 68).
