READING SKILL – COMPARE AND CONTRAST
Comparing and contrasting characters can help you better understand a story. When you compare two or more people or things, you look for ways they are similar. When you contrast them, you look for ways they are different. AFTER you read the first section of “Amigo Brothers,” note similarities and differences between Felix and Antonio in a VENN diagram. You should have AT LEAST three ideas in each part of the VENN diagram (9 total answers), but 5 in each part would be better.

Of course, FIRST you should read the ending of “The Snow Cave” (page 89).
