THIS PACKET WILL BE WORTH A LOT OF POINTS SO WRITE YOUR NAME ON ALL THE PAGES AND DON’T LOSE IT!

CW1:
- Read the first text (The Sea Wolf).
- It is NOT an easy 5th grade level text like the budget packet.
CW2:

- Trace or draw the illustration (picture) then neatly color it.
- DO NOT DO THIS!
B-
- Find an interesting word in each paragraph of the first text then make quick cards.
- Quick cards means word and definition and it’s ok if your cards are a little messy.
- Study the cards.
A- or A+
- Next to each paragraph, write a SHORT summary of what happened in the paragraph.
- Your summary should be in plain, easy English that even a third grader could understand.
- Then make the quick cards and study them (read the B- directions).
CW3:
Read your library book or other chapter book for 11 minutes. Write your start and stop time on loose leaf. AFTER you finish reading, write a short summary on loose leaf.
