CW1 … if you want an A or A+
- Write a poem (or rap) to your crush.
- Your crush could be your dog or hot chips or your Xbox or your Yeezy shoes or a celebrity or an actual person or basically anything.
- Your poem (or rap) must have a rhyme scheme.
- Your poem (or rap) must be AT LEAST eight lines, but 16 lines would be better if you want the full points.
- Your poem (or rap) must include AT LEAST THREE of the following vocabulary words: aroma, trance, inscription, masterpiece, beckon .
A LITTLE EXTRA CREDIT: Perform for the class.
A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT: Memorize your poem then perform for the class.

- On loose leaf, neatly copy the poetry that is on page 608 in the ELA LIT book.
- Don’t forget your title.
- Read it to the teacher.
- Work on IXL … POETRY … for the rest of the hour.
