BW: break, break, brake, brake

CHOICES FOR CW:

CHOICE 1

  • Redo all the CW you were supposed to do with the substitute.
  • Watch and LISTEN to a YouTube educational video about sharks. Write notes on loose leaf while you watch/listen. You may use headphones.
  • On a piece of computer paper, neatly draw, label and color the shark that is on pages 912 and 913.

CHOICE 2 – BLACK HISTORY MONTH

  • Research Muhammad Ali, Rosa Parks, Drake, LeBron, or Serena and Venus Williams. Write some interesting/important facts on loose leaf.
  • On a fresh sheet of loose leaf, write a short poem that is at least 8 lines long using facts about your person.
  • The poem must have a rhyme scheme.
  • MEMORIZE YOUR POEM. When you’re ready, perform for the teacher.
  • If you have a different person you’d like to research for Black History Month, talk to the teacher.

IF YOU ARE FINISHED WITH ALL YOUR BW AND CW, CHOOSE SOMETHING QUIET TO WORK ON. YOU MAY USE HEADPHONES.

HW: EXERCISE 83

If you want an A+, don’t just fill in the blanks!

SPECIAL CHALLENGE FOR ALL HOURS:

If you think your substitute work was PERFECT, drop your name into the Happy Birthday box. You might be allowed to skip all work today and have quiet free time.
