Chapter 1 Test Make-up
Due to excessive absence today during chapter 1 test (over 30 absences), the following are the rules for test make up and absences during future tests:
- There will be a ONE day make up which is tomorrow Tuesday 10/23. Make up will be during C lunch, 6th hour, or after school you could choose.
- There are absolutely ZERO excuses tolerated. If you work, talk to your boss. If you have any other excuse, find a way to be in my class C lunch, 6th hour or after school.
- In the future, if I notice a pattern in the absences (absent every quiz or every test), I will contact your counselor and your parents and you will receive a zero.
Today’s Class: Monday 10/22 (Chapter 1 Test)
- Students took chapter 1 Test. We have been working on chapter one for almost 5 weeks.
- Test was NOT multiple choice
- Calculator was allowed ONLY the last 10 min as a way to check your work because most of this chapter test objective are no calculator on the SAT
- I was very disappointed for having over 30 absences in my hours when we spent 2 extra weeks on the chapter than other classes
- For Make up, check the next post
- Tomorrow we will be reviewing special cases and we will start chapter 2 as well.
