Violette is grateful to be at school and make new friends.

Peek at the Week

  • Tons of fun this week with The Gingerbread Man “Run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!”  Though not strictly a holiday story, it is the perfect story for a delicious season.  Something about the smell of gingerbread is irresistible.  While it seems easy to side with the Gingerbread Man and not the sly fox that eats him, we quickly discovered that none of us could resist eating the delicious Gingerbread either!
  • We decorated gingerbread men and charted what part we bit into first, the head, arm or leg
  • We made gingerbread and used our toaster oven to bake the bread. Our classroom smelled scrumptious. The children thought it tasted just and good as it smelled.
  • We chased a gingerbread treat all around the school on a scavenger hunt. We found those crafty gingerbread men in the office. After we found them, we ate them. Snip, snap, snout, this tale is told out!
  • We sang Christmas Carols using adaptive technology.  Super fun for everyone!
  • We finished our ULS unit on Sun, Moon and Space exploration
