Happy March 19!!!

Happy March 19!!!

Hope this finds everyone well and ready for some ART fun! Yesterday I posted a short video on Vincent Van Gogh and a word search using art vocabulary. I hope you like his art style as much as I do because today I am going to include a coloring sheet that is a copy of one of his most famous works for you to color. I am also including the original for you to look at to see his beautiful work BUT feel free to color it in using your own style. Use your favorite colors, or pick a color scheme or try to reproduce his originals!

Morning!

Morning!

Hope everyone is well! Let’s watch a short video about one of my favorite artists: Vincent Van Gogh! I love the bright colors and his thick use of paint to create his works!!! I included a Word Search that uses art vocabulary. Have fun doing it and see if you can remember the definition to each word. Tomorrow I will post some Van Gogh coloring pages! Please keep doing your school work, get outside for a bit of fresh air- play in the yard or walk around the block and hang in there.

The video is under the Word Search !

The staff have created learning guides to assist with student learning at home. Please reach out to one another through email or phone calls to ensure all parents have been in contact with their teacher. Please let me know if I can do anything to assist you. Hello River Oaks and Nowlin Families!

Hello River Oaks and Nowlin Families!

Wow, talk about uncharted waters! We are in the beginning stages of planning how to reach out to our students over the course of the next three weeks. I am working with other special area teachers at school AND working with the Art Department to provide art experiences for your students. Please check back next week to see what we have come up with to keep your students involved in the artistic process and help to move them forward with their problem solving skills. Please be safe and know that I am thinking of you all as we move through this point in our lives! Tons of THANKS! Ms. Zechar
