Friday Bellwork:
We did an in-class activity to discuss the idea of indirect measurement. Using similar triangles, we can find the height of any object given a few known distances. Notes and the practice (due Monday) are linked below.
Thursday Bellwork:
Reviewed the scoring of Monday’s similarity quiz. Afterwords, quizzes were given back and corrections were due at the end of the hour. Last Friday’s BW quizzes were also given back for corrections and are due tomorrow.
Mr. Wood was no in class today. Review practice packet given by substitute.

After checking in and reviewing the answers to yesterday’s homework, students took a pop-quiz on the homework material. We then did an activity to begin our discussion of similarity postulates and theorems. The activity is linked below. We will continue this discussion tomorrow.
Wednesday Bellwork:
Quickly reviewed yesterday’s notes. Students had a large part of the class time to work on their similar figures assignment (linked below). This is due tomorrow!
