Weekly Update

Good Morning,

Learning labs have begun your student is meeting in person or virtually with their classroom teacher. Thank you for being logged in or dropped off on time. Thank you again for your patience with the use of technology. We have had a lot of glitchy sessions this week that have delayed some login times-we appreciate your patience!

Next week the students will complete their math Module 1 assessment on Tuesday. This assessment will be done during class time and be completed in an online format. Students will be in a small group with myself or Mr. Moore. We will guide them in accessing the assessment. We will complete an online review on Monday and you may access this review for the assessment as well through Schoology. Tuesday students will complete the assessment. We will also complete our science unit on forces. We will review Thursday and complete the test on Friday. You may also access the science review through Schoology.

We are digging deeper into our new reading program. For reading assignments next week we will be completing RAZ KIDS assignments. We will do a lot of learning together to establish skills using the new Benchmark reading program. Your student may also access Benchmark library at any time for online reading.

We are already in mid-October next week! You may have noticed Mr. Moore teaching more lessons. Mr. Moore will be with us until December 4th in that time he is required to complete many hours of teacher planning and teaching. Mr. Moore and myself have been working closely to build skills. Next week he will be taking over math lessons for Module 2.

Please feel free to reach out if you need anything.

We hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather this weekend!
