It was very nice to meet some parents at open house last night.
Forensic Science: We finished up our guided notes (see yesterday’s post for the powerpoint) and have some interesting discussions about legal terms and crimes. Tomorrow we will apply these terms to a case study.
Chemistry: Today students tested their hypotheses by conducting their experiments. Their data, results, and conclusion should be done for homework if they didn’t finish them in class.

Welcome back to school! This year I will be teaching forensic science and chemistry, so make sure you are reading the correct post.
Forensic Science: We worked on guided notes today about evidence. You can find the powerpoint here: The Nature of Evidence Powerpoint
Chemistry: Today we filled in our scientific method foldable and began designing an experiment. Students will be completing their experiment tomorrow in class. Homework was only if they didn’t finish writing their experimental procedure.
