Art Studio Scavenger Hunt

We are working on the Studio Habit of Mind: Developing Craft. This studio practice of caring for materials and tools is the foundation we will build upon as we explore what it means to be an artist.

Salina artists are getting re-acquainted with the studio by collaborating with a partner to find, use, and create with materials and tools found in the art studio.

Third grade partners work together to complete a making activity using a stapler, a hole punch, glue and tape.
First and second graders collaborate using crayons, stencils, pencils, and yarn.
Second graders use a variety of glues, stencils, coloring materials and rulers to complete a making activity.
Third graders take turns, discuss and share ideas about how to show evidence of finding and using different materials and tools in the art studio.
