Summer Reading
All students are expected to read this summer and be prepared for an assessment upon return in the fall. Sophomores create/present a Book Talk. Please keep track of the following information: Author, Book Title, Publisher, place of publication, # of pages, and year published. You will be creating the book talk materials in class the first week, so you need this information.
Honors students–in addition to choosing and reading a book for your Book Talk, you must also read Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and complete the attached Golden Line Chart by TYPING directly into the document. It is due on the first FULL day of class.
If you are added to the Honor’s class this summer, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to complete the work.
