Week 10-May 18-May 21

To all my second grade friends you are doing a great job! I loved reading your informational papers this week on the life cycle of a butterfly and I see that you have learned a lot from all the books that you have read. Our class has read 520 books on Epic! You are all star readers! I hope we see some of the beautiful butterflies that you read about in our gardens soon!

Friendly Reminders For This Week:

There will be Student Resource and Belonging Pick up days this week Tuesday, May19th and Wednesday May 20th from 1:00-3:00 pm. Please come to pick up students resources and belongings that were left in their lockers and desks. A grade level representative will be on site to hand you your students resources and belongings that were placed in bags and labeled with their name, teacher’s name, and grade. Grade 2 will pick up using the Silvery Lane drop off lane. If possible, please bring back students’ book bags with any reading group books or library books that they may still have in them so they may be returned to the book room and library before the end of the school year. Your help is greatly appreciated! See Mr. Short’s letter to the community for more details.
