Good Morning!

Hello-Battle Against Hunger will begin next week!!  Please donate either money or non-perishable food items all next week from Nov 13-17th.  We will be competing against Dearborn and Fordson and all of our feeders to see who can donate the most.  The goal is for the district to collect 100,000 cans to feed families in need.  Boxes/donation cans will be set up in the main office, counseling and upstairs in the academy.  Please give all you can-show everyone how much Edsel cares!!

The first CHARITY WEEK meeting will be TOMORROW, Thursday, Nov 9th right after school in the cafeteria.  If you would like to be involved in planning the events, please join us in the cafeteria by 2:25.  The meeting will last about 30 minutes.  See Mrs Haddad if you have any questions!

Who is Ms.Salsberry ?
Hello,
I am Ms.Salsberry  the  Student Empowerment Technician. I utilize Restorative Practices and P.B.I.S.  within  E.F.H.S. and The Dearborn Public Schools Community.
I am trained in Restorative practices a social science that studies how to build social capital and achieve social discipline through participatory learning and decision making.
The use of restorative practices helps to:
  • reduce crime, violence and bullying
  • improve human behavior
  • strengthen civil society
  • provide effective leadership
  • restore relationships
  • repair harm
  • P.B.I.S (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture and needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success)
