Week at a Glance for the Week of 3/22

Just think you made it through our first week of remote learning! YAY!!! A big thank you to all of those parents who were flexible, understanding, kind, and had willingness to try something new last week. We are all in this together, and I can’t tell you how lucky I am to have such a great parental unit behind me!

Along with the big thank you, I wanted to also give a shout out to those parents who took the family survey. I was able to get some great feedback and I will be working to incorporate that more into our future lessons.

In response to the survey, I noticed some parents wanted a more clear plan for the week. Listed below you will find a more detailed week at a glance with the names of the assignments, when they will be posted, and where they will be posted.

Since this situation is fluid, there may be changes with this plan later in the week depending on feedback I am getting from families and staff. If something changes with this, I will let you know.

Another item of feedback that I was asked about was assignment submission. If for some reason you are struggling to submit an assignment into Google Classroom, please reach out to me. I would be more than welcome to give you a phone call and walk you through the process. If you need some extra guidance, please check out the YouTube video below.

If for some reason you still can’t upload an assignment, feel free to take a picture and send it to me via Remind or email. Or you can scan it and email it as an attachment too. Ultimately, when in doubt reach out! I’ll walk you through it!

Along with the week at a glance, this week as a school we will be doing a Remote Learning Spirit Week. Please see the attachment below regarding the days. I also incorporated them within the week at a glance above!

Lastly, today I have posted the weekly writing prompt and weekly reading log into Google Classroom. Make sure to check those out this week.

Let’s try and make this week great! We can do it!
