Bellwork gave students practice using the graphing calculator to find the coordinates of maximums and minimums then using these points to answers questions about Extremes and intervals of increasing and decreasing.

Bellwork reviewed for tomorrow’s Topic 3 Test and also gave students some review problems from some Algebra 1 topics that will appear again in Algebra 2.

Hwk #16 is due today for 2nd, 5th, and 6th hours.  This homework will be due on Friday for 1st hour.

Class periods were shorter due to today’s late start thus the bellwork took the entire period for students to work on and the class to go over together.

After the quiz students worked on Hwk #16.  The first part of Hwk #16 has students look at Topic 4: Intro to Polynomial Functions – Overview – pgs  1-3  (look at all 6 panels on page 1).  The second part of the homework is to answer  problems 1-4 on Student Activity Sheet 1 from Topic 4

Hwk #16 is due Wednesday, October 16 for hours 2, 5, and 6 and is due on Friday, October 18 for 1st hour.

There were separate bellworks for hours 1/2 and hours 5/6.  They both gave students review for the test over Topic 3 which will be given on Thursday, October 17, 2019

Hwk #15 is due today for hours 1 & 2.

The remainder of the period we reviewed some more for the Topic 3 Test.  Students will also have a short 10 question online Agilemind quiz tomorrow that will serve two purposes.  The quiz will gauge how well they learned the material in this topic and also review for Thursday’s test.
