Bellwork had students graph inequalities on the x-y plane.

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 3-3 (Systems of Linear Inequalities) and began discussing Sec 3-4 (Linear Programming).

Hwk #13 is due on Monday, October 13, 2014.  Graph paper must be used to graph inequalities.

Bellwork had students write and solve systems of linear equations.

The remainder of the period we began discussing Systems of Linear Equations.  Students were reminded of how to solve these systems by graphing then how to tell the number of solutions without graphing (sec 3-1).

Hwk #10 is due tomorrow:  Pages 120-121, Problems 7, 18-20, 27-29, 33 (graph paper must be used to solve by graphing)
