1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice in drawing a net for 3-D objects.

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 2-3, Direct Variation.

Hwk #1 is due tomorrow.     Sec 2-3

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice with simplifying square roots.  This skill will be used throughout Chapter 5 and beyond.

Hwk #1 is due today.

The remainder of the period we discussed finding y-intercepts for any given equation and we reviewed using the graphing calculator to make a scatter plot, find either a linear or quadratic regression equation, and using that equation to find unknown values.

Hwk #2 is due tomorrow:  Practice sheet simplifying square roots and finding y-intercepts.
