For bellwork students finished the exploration/notes on graphs of exponential functions that was begun previously.
The remainder of the period we discussed Sec 8-7: Graphs of Exponential Equations.

Bellwork reviewed using exponential equations to relate to real-world situations. Students were also introduced to compound interest problems.
The bellwork took most of the period. After the bellwork students were shown how to calculate interest when it is compounded continuously using the formula: A = Pe^(rt)
