Bellwork reviewed finding the number of solutions to a linear system of equations without graphing and solving a system of linear equations by using substitution.

Bellwork reviewed graphing two lines to find the solution to a system of linear equtions and to find when two companies charge the same amount for phone service by writing an equation for each company’s charges.

The remainder of the period we discussed Sec 7-1, Solving Systems of Linear Equations by graphing and finding the number of solutions without graphing.
We then began discussing Sec 7-2, Solving a System of Linear Equations using Substitution.

Class periods were shortened today due to all students testing in the morning (MME, PLAN, EXPLORE).
Students practice graphing lines from the given equations:
- Slope-Intercept Form
- Point-Slope Form
- Standard Form
- Horizontal Lines
- Vertical Lines
We then continued discussing Parallel Lines from Sec 6-5.
