Bellwork had students explore the graphs of quadratic equations (parabolas) to determine how changing the coefficient of the quadratic term affects the graph.

The remainder of the period we continued this discussion about the graphs of quadratic functions, their characteristics, and how the solutions to the equation 0=ax^2+bx+c relates to the graph.
