Here we go with week #3!!!  Just a reminder that next week will be our as scheduled “Spring Break.”  There will not be daily assignments posted; however, we will still give some strong recommendations of fun learning activities and online programs (RAZ KIDS, ZEARN, and CLEVER Resources).

We continue to express great gratitude to how our families have come together to help and support each other.  Now more than ever teachers, parents, and our Oakman family must work together to support each other in so many ways.  We hope that the lessons, activities, and resources we are providing are allowing for some structure and routine to your households.  Structure and routine help provide a safe feeling for young children. Writing📝: 15-20 minutes working “I think__________________are better becasue_____________________________.” Give me at least one reason why you pick either the  swings or the slide as your favorite activity to play during recess.

*Remember what a good sentence looks like, starts with a capital letter, good spacing, and ends with an end mark.  (Use rubric below for 5 star writing!!) 

Draw a picture and finish the sentence stem and send me a selfie with your picture and use the voice message (microphone)  to tell me your sentence.

Reading 📚 : Read 15-20 Minutes on RAZ KIDS WEBSITE working on your independent LEVEL text and comprehension questions.  Your teachers can see what books you are reading and WE CAN HEAR YOU READ IF YOU REMEMBER TO RECORD YOURSELF (Red microphone button near top.. You will see seconds start counting when it is on.)  ← PLEASE RECORD so we are hear your awesome reading.

Remember to fill in your reading log with your minutes as well!!

***NEW BENCHMARK ❤️ red ❤️ booklet informational text for today.  “‘Let’s Celebrate Earth Day!” on page 10 and 11. Read text and complete response with a picture and sentence to match. (10 minutes)

Spelling Words for the the week of March 30-April 3

·        Monday: Rainbow Spelling!

o   Write each spelling word in pencil. Now use a crayon to trace each word in that color. Pick another color and repeat.
