Economics Essay Due January 7th
You need to write an essay taking a stand on a topic in economics. As I have said, there are many questions with no absolutely correct answers. Learning to explore these questions, analyze information, and draw your own conclusions is a goal in this course.
The essay is due Tuesday January 7th. You must submit it typed, not handwritten, either on paper, by email, or through Google Docs. Use standard MLA formatting.
Attached, find the four topics you can choose between.
You must cite at least three sources. You may use the textbook as one source, but you cannot use any encyclopedias (including Wikipedia). Make sure to use reliable sources that cite specific facts. Statistics, scholarly studies, and detailed charts far outweigh opinions. below, you can see the graphic which analyzes source reliability. For good sources, consider The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and Yahoo Finance

There are no requirements on length. I recommend a three paragraph essay. You are being scored on your ability to take a coherent stance and back it up with information. Convince me of your opinion!
