3.READING GROUP BAG—> , re-read old books for fluency AND read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: “Find a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the /s/ sound. ETC.”  Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants blends and digraphs in their bag– this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!

4. Math Module 4 NEW homework workbook-lesson 31, helper on page 123 and homework page 125.

5. Spelling Notebook

  • Tuesday:  Use one color for consonants and one color for vowels.

Reminders:

Our field trip is THURSDAY.  Students will need to bring a packed lunch! 🙂

Today we did NWEA practice test for Reading! The test was out of 30 points and students have their score from the last time they took it (Winter) and their score from TODAY on a blue post-it in their folders.

Some students have notes about what to work on, here on some videos to watch to help with those skills and please try to point out and work on DAILY as they read their READING GROUP BOOKS from their bags– thank you!
