Monday
Students will research seven scientist that contributed to the cell theory. Each group will focus on one scientist
head biography note taking sheet
They will report out their findings and transfer their information onto a silhouette to share with the rest of the class
Students will then gather important information on each scientist
Tuesday
Students will create a timeline that outlines the discoveries that lead to the cell theory

Students will take some notes on cells and then create different size cubes to compare the surface area and volume of a cell: Why are cells small

Friday Cells alive internet worksheet
Students will use the site cells alive to study the organelles of cell – id, structure and function
