Week 2: 3/23/20-3/27/20
This weeks online learning will take place from iLearn and IXL.

1. This week, you will be required to read to self (like we practice in class) for 20 minutes (10 extra minutes since you are at home). Then, on 3 of the 5 days of the week you will be required to construct a reading log about what you read. Depending on whether or not you read fiction or nonfiction, there is a number of prompts for you to chose from. YOU MUST RESPOND TO A DIFFERENT PROMPT EACH TIME. I have included an example of a sample response.

2. You will also be responding to a journal entry with a prompt of my choice. You will see the journal entry assignment on iLearn. For written responses, please type in your answer, and even if it displays that the answer is incorrect, still move forward and submit. I will grade the written answers manually, the computer cannot grade those for me.

3. Additionally, I have decided to give you the rest of this week to finish the IXL skills I had assigned the last week we were together in school. Some of you may have already began these skills.

These are the IXL Skills that must be complete by Friday at 80% or HIGHER:
5th Grade/ G :EE1, EE2, EE3, EE4
6th Grade/ H: V1, V2, V3, V4, V5

If parents or students have any questions, please feel free to email me at nasserL@dearbornschools.org. I will respond as quickly as possible.

Thank You.
