What might the motives of the artist have been in drawing the major issues that emerged after WWI as icebergs? 3.) Based on the fact that the U.S. withdrawal from European affairs following WWI led to an unstable region in which Germany was able to rebuild itself. Would there have been a better solution for the U.S. then simply trying to avoid Europe’s problems or in your mind did they make the right call for the time?
