Good afternoon! Today we finished Part 2 of our unit covering Chapter 30 Sections 1 and 2. Tomorrow we are going to review for the quiz and hopefully everyone will be ready to do well on Monday (4/07).

o       Bell Work-1. What are the key traits of a totalitarian state?  2. What are some ways totalitarian rulers keep their power 3. How did the Soviet economy change under Stalin?

o       Content Objective:

§        SWD creation of the role of a totalitarian government and the daily lives of Russian citizens under the rule of Stalin through compiling information in student led guided notes

§        SWD evaluation of the materials covered in Chapter 30 Sections 1 and 2 through summarizing key information in a structured study guide

o       Language Objective:

§        Students will read and record and orally share information on the role of a totalitarian government and the daily lives of Russian citizens under the rule of Stalin by creating student centered guided notes

§        Students will read, and write the key terms and important concepts covered in Chapter 30 Sections 1 and 2 by completing a structured inquiry based study guide
