Prefix: a letter or group of letters that is added at the beginning of a word to change its meaning (example: “re-” as in “redo”)
Decrease: to make something smaller
Proceed: to continue to do something
Nonsense: words or ideas that are foolish or untrue
Unusual: not normal or usual
Introduce: to cause (something) to begin to be used for the first time
Nonfiction: writing this is about facts or real events
Decompose: to break something down into smaller parts
Impossible: not possible; not able to be done
Mistake: something that is not correct; a wrong action
Degrees: a unit for measuring temperature
Temperature: a measurement that indicates how hot or cold something is
Thermometer: an instrument used for measuring temperature
