Dear Parents,
This email was shared with us by our amazing social worker, Zahra Zaarour to help our families.
Good Morning Everyone,
I thought this was a good resource to share with some of our families. There’s a new program that will pay up to $500 in utility costs for Michigan’s essential workers. THAW, or The Heat and Warm Fund, will pay up to $500 in utility assistance for any household with an income up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Following the Department of Homeland Security’s definition of an essential worker, if you’re a health care nurse, hospital cleaning and maintenance worker, grocery and foodservice clerk, or bus driver, you qualify.

Please, let me know if you need assistance reaching out to any of your families or completing the form.

Social Work Support
This email was shared with all teachers to be shared with our parents. Please, take a few moments to read this email and feel free to add your name to the attached document to be provided with support.
Good Afternoon,
I hope you’re all doing well! I created a google form for our students and their families to fill out if they are in need of any services. It is a simple questionnaire for them to fill out if needed.
Teachers, please share this form with your students and their parents/guardians. Also, if you are aware of a student/family that may be struggling and can benefit from some support, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I will do what I am able to provide support/services for them.
