Few Reminders:

  • Parent meeting with Mrs. Sour Monday, October 28 at 9-10am
  • Friday is half a Day!
  • Thursday is Halloween!

On Thursday, October 31, PTA is hosting a Pumpkin Patch and a Parade.

Pumpkin Patch

$5 per student – students choose their own unique pumpkin, get juice and a donut.

Halloween Parade

Students will walk inside the school while PTA members pass out candy.  If you would like to join the PTA ($10), please contact Ms. Amanda Hammoud at (313) 450-3503

Costumes 

Students can come to school wearing their costumes (remember if they have gym, to wear or bring appropriate shoes)

Students can wear tattoos and make up – No Face Paint

Students may not bring masks or weapon props.

Candy We are looking for candy donations.  Parents, please send candy to school any day up to Halloween.  The more we receive, the more the students will get.

Student of the Month!

This month’s student of the month is Hussein ELzaghir. Hussein is a very hard-working student and is always willing to participate in class. He does a great job of staying on task and completing his classwork and homework in a timely manner. Hussein works well with others in class and is always willing to assist those around him if they need it. He is a very polite, responsible, motivated, and passionate student. Congratulation Hussein!!!
