Hello all! Happy Tuesday. I apologize for the lack of updates the past two weeks! These past two weeks were fun but busy busy. Our letter focus over the two weeks was letter M & N. We explored all the things that start with the letter M & N, practiced letter M & N words, and worked our hands hard with different handwriting activities. Our Core Word for the week was Go so we practiced with our Core Books called Go Fish! & Where Did You Go?. Our story of the past two weeks was The Mitten & The Snowy Day . The mitten is a classic story about a cold wintery day out in nature! The Snowy day is a beautifully colored story about a snowy day and friendship! The kids enjoyed both stories and are totally prepared for a Snowy Day! Our Math focus for the month is Identifying fractions. We practiced fractions with our fraction books, while also getting some hands on learning with slicing fruit in half and quarters! Our Scholastic articles was all about Martin Luther King, and Our Winter season! The kids enjoyed learning about Martin Luther King, and exploring the Winter Season. Lastly our Science for the month is the 5 senses. We talked about the different senses and how we use our senses. Enjoy the pictures from the week 🙂
