Here is a look at our week:

ELA/Writing: In reading, we are learning about summarizing fiction text. Reading Groups have been formed and I have been meeting with groups last week. Please look for a bag coming home with your child’s name on it. I will be sending book bags with our books for the week- please make sure they come to school everyday!! They can be used for reading 25 minutes at home because they will be at your child’s reading level. In many books, there are also comprehension questions in the back of the book. Practice asking those questions to your child when they are done reading the book. ** Please remember to have your child bring the book bags to school daily- we also use them in our reading groups.** In writing, we are publishing our personal narratives on KidBlog. We are also providing feedback to our peers. Once blogs are published, I will share the stories with you!

Good Morning!!

Please read the attached letter from some of my homeroom parents. A hard copy will be send home as well! Their information is listed if you have any questions!! Thank you 🙂

Hope everyone had a restful weekend! Thank you to everyone who was involved in my surprise “bridal shower” at school! I won’t be at school for a half day this Thursday, a full day Friday, and a full day the next Monday (10/7) for my wedding.
