Hello Families!

Today we were invited to the library to be introduced to “Hour of Code” with Ms. Bazzi’s third grade and Mrs. Hansen. We used the Chromebooks too!!! Our third grade partners were so helpful!

We are looking forward to the next time we visit our amazing library at Oakman School… (We will visit the library every Thursday after lunch for storytime with Mrs. Hansen!)

We also meet with our Book Buddies from Ms. Earle’s second grade class!!! We LOVE our book buddies! They always come so excited to work with the your children! To end our time with book buddies, a 2nd grader will read to the whole group! But…. last time, three of our Young 5s read to the WHOLE group!!! They practiced reading the pictures of familiar books.  We were all impressed!!!

We are reading the pictures to retell a familiar story! This friend even changed his voice for the different characters!
